The competition Golden Site 2020 has come to the end. This competition was held within the framework of the Polish Aid for Development Project “Increasing the Competitiveness of Ukrainian Regions and Development of Polish-Ukrainian Economic cooperation”. According to the results of the competition, the site of Vinnytsia Industrial Park (area of 27.6 ha) was determined the winner.

The competition Golden Site 2020 was held in two stages. At the first stage, the commission consisting of the foreign and Ukrainian experts selected the land sites on the basis of submitted materials: descriptions of the sites, attached photos, maps, etc. At the second stage the land site was audited. Representatives of the commission visited the investment sites which were selected according to the results of the first stage and determined one winner among them.

In total, 10 applicants from 6 amalgamated territorial communities were submitted to the competition in Vinnytsia region. The winning site was determined by the following criteria: land location, infrastructure, legal status, landscape properties, access roads and proximity to the railway track.

According to the conclusions of authoritative European experts, the land site of Vinnytsia Industrial Park has been identified as the most attractive for foreign investors.

Under the terms of competition, the following awards are provided:
– awarding of diplomas and statuettes;
– training “Investor Visit Simulation” from an expert of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIT);
– maximum dissemination of information about the investment site among foreign investors;
– 5-day study visit to Poland to study the experience and best practices of effective investments of Polish colleagues.

The victory of Vinnytsia Industrial Park in the competition Golden Site 2020 is the result of sustainable and systematic work of Vinnytsia City Council in the field of investment attraction. Vinnytsia City Council and the Mayor make every effort to make Vinnytsia a comfortable place to live and do business. Vinnytsia continues to be an attractive city for potential foreign and regional investors.

We would like to remind that Vinnytsia region is one of 7 regions of Ukraine which took part in the competition Golden Site 2020. The purpose of the competition is to determine the best investment sites in Ukrainian regions, to increase the capacity of communities to attract regional and foreign investment. The competition was held by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIT) jointly with the Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration and Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency within of the Polish Aid for Development Project “Increasing the Competitiveness of Ukrainian Regions and Development of Polish-Ukrainian Economic cooperation”.
