On October 30, the City Council approved the Program to Enhance Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises of Vinnytsia City Territorial Community for 2021-2023. It is about popularizing the culture of entrepreneurship, promoting local business, developing business competencies, improving the business climate. It is expected to create new business support infrastructure, increase the number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), enter Vinnytsia entrepreneurs into new markets and increase exports of SMEs goods and services.

Small and medium business is an important factor in community development, job creation, filling the budget. That is why the city pays serious attention to creating comfortable conditions for entrepreneurship, as well as implementing support tools, including financial.

The new program is designed for the period 2021-2023. It will include a number of measures for financial incentives, training, development of social entrepreneurship, as well as creation in the future of the Center for Entrepreneurship Support on the basis of the Innovation and Technology Park CRYSTAL.

The Program to Enhance Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises of Vinnytsia City Territorial Community for 2021-2023 is a document developed in cooperation with the city’s business community, international experts and local government specialists in order to achieve a new level of cooperation with business, strengthening its competitiveness not only in the city but also abroad. In addition, this document was developed jointly with experts from the Ukrainian-Canadian project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG).
